I Got An Offer

. . . in St. Louis (Hazelwood) Missouri. Decision time. Anybody out there reading this from the St. Louis area?

Good for you! Just receiving an offer helps calm worries. You might look at the CWCCA Members site and see who is in the St. Louis area, then email them to get ideas about dog events (and where to live).

Not exactly in the area-5 hours away in Iowa but heck, that's close out here. Love to have you in the "area". Loads of good shows, dog events and well, shopping!!

I grew up in the St. Louis (St. Charles county) area-my parents still live there and so I stay there for many trials in the area (and there are quite a few)-we are headed to two there this month. Both the Gateway Agility Club and Greater St. Louis Agility club have websites and offer training and trials in the area. There are other training groups as well. The winters are cold and the summers are hot but there are no hurricanes! There are also many trials around the state (3-4 hour drives) and in the Kansas City area. You will likely have to own at least on article of clothing promoting the STL Cardinals though! Let me know if you have more questions about MO or STL area.

Hi! I grew up in St. Louis and still live near the area. I live about 60 miles west of downtown, but I work in St. Louis County, a 50 mile commute each way. And, I went to Hazelwood High School.

St. Louis is a great area to be in with many shows and trials within a couple of hours drive, plus lots of great local training clubs that put on trials during the year. Check out some of the links on my blog.

Keep me posted on the move and all. You can email me at cardilover @ yahoo.com (remove spaces). Good luck and looking forward to another cardi enthusiast in the area. :-) Laura

I'm on the Kansas City side of the state, and there are lots of show opportunities (conformation and performance) in the St. Louis area. I'm pretty sure there are agility trials almost constantly! Lots of Cardigans in the area, too! Let us know if you are headed our way. :-)
